Japanese Cooked Pork Recipe

Ok I know this is not a Chinese recipe... But it's sooo good that I have to share it here, I'm sure you will like it.

Ingredients


  • 0,5 kg chop pork boneless piece
  • 100 ml of oil
  • A pint of water
  • three tablespoons of sugar
  • 90 ml of honey
  • 80 ml of soy sauce
  • 50 ml of Sake ( if you have )
  • A clove of garlic , crushed
  • A piece of ginger cut into slices * garlic and ginger are to remove the smell of pork



1. Cut Chop into pieces and roast all sides of the pieces .
2. Put the roasted chunks, garlic and half the ginger into the pot and add water to cover the ingredients and cook with low heat for half an hour. * If you want to remove more fat , it is best to cook some hours (up to 3 hours). Most cooking will remove more fat.
3. Add the water and all the spices. At first cook with high heat and then boil them down to a simmer and cook for an hour.
