Japanese Cooked Pork Recipe
Ingredients
- 0,5 kg chop pork boneless piece
- 100 ml of oil
- A pint of water
- three tablespoons of sugar
- 90 ml of honey
- 80 ml of soy sauce
- 50 ml of Sake ( if you have )
- A clove of garlic , crushed
- A piece of ginger cut into slices * garlic and ginger are to remove the smell of pork
1. Cut Chop into pieces and roast all sides of the pieces .
2. Put the roasted chunks, garlic and half the ginger into the pot and add water to cover the ingredients and cook with low heat for half an hour. * If you want to remove more fat , it is best to cook some hours (up to 3 hours). Most cooking will remove more fat.
3. Add the water and all the spices. At first cook with high heat and then boil them down to a simmer and cook for an hour.
